How does Smart Edit work?
Your PDF is rendered onto a canvas and every line of text is overlaid as an editable box. When you click a line, you can rewrite it inline — exactly like editing a Word document. On save, the original text is covered with a clean white box and the new text is drawn on top, all in your browser.
Will fonts and layout match the original exactly?
Edited lines are re-drawn in a standard PDF font (Helvetica) sized to fit the original text bounds. Background graphics, images and any text you didn't change stay completely untouched.
